Sweekaram Initiative under P4:

It is a transformative mission to renovate and upgrade SC, BC, and ST Welfare Hostels, with the generous support of public philanthropists, NGOs, charitable institutions, corporate companies, and banks.
The initiative aims to significantly improve living conditions, safety, and overall well-being of students, particularly those from vulnerable sections. The renovation focuses on upgrading existing infrastructure across hostels, including dormitories, kitchens, dining halls, toilets, bathrooms, study areas, and common spaces.
Essential civil and electrical works are being carried out, such as structural strengthening, roofing, flooring, plumbing, electrical systems, ventilation, and sanitation facilities, to ensure a safe, hygienic, and student-friendly environment.
The project also includes provisions for clean drinking water, proper lighting, fire safety measures, and accessibility improvements wherever required, while ensuring full compliance with health and safety standards.
Through modernization of facilities and enhancement of residential infrastructure, the Sweekaram Initiative seeks to create a comfortable, secure, and supportive hostel environment that promotes education, dignity, and holistic welfare of students, enabling them to focus on academic excellence and personal growth.
